            My opportunity was that businesses and companies can exploit the increasing threat of cybersecurity by ensuring that their customer’s information is kept private. This will build a more loyal and trusting relationship and could help expand their brand, reputation and overall business. A potential way in which companies can go about this is designating a team or division whose sole purpose is cyber-security. These days millions of dollars are being spent by companies, specifically aimed at stealing private data and using it in a malicious way. If companies are not actively fighting these potential hackers, then it is inevitable that a leak of private information may occur. In addition, specially having regulations in place in which records can only be accessed by company employees would also enhance safety. Developing software and antivirus programs to protect against cyberattacks would also alleviate the problem. Taking these precautions will not only make companies more secure, but it will allow them to promote their brand in a way that promotes consumer confidence and trust. People will be more likely to buy from them or refer them to friends because they have faith that their private data will be protected.
